What should AI do, and what should people approve?

AI can draft a message, summarize a document, or suggest a next step. Sending, publishing, or making a consequential decision is a separate action. Decide which actions need your approval.

Where should the review step go?

A good approval screen shows the proposed action, the source information, and what happens next. It should be easy to edit or reject the result, not just accept it.

What happens when data is missing or unusual?

Missing data and unusual requests are normal. Route them to a person instead of asking the automation to invent an answer. A clear exception path is part of a finished workflow.

What should an automation record?

Record what ran, what information was used, and what was approved. When something goes wrong, a readable history is more useful than a mysterious success message.
